Transfer Menus
A transfer menu is a menu that is available through a single online application form. Transfer menus provide quick access to forms that are closely related to the application form they appear on. If you are viewing an application form with the Lawson Portal, the transfer menu's options appear as a set of links in the Related Forms menu. As an administrator, if you are viewing an application form with the Lawson Interface Desktop (LID), you can press Local Transfer (F7) to access the transfer menu.
Lawson delivers many application forms with transfer menus. With the Form ID Definition utility, you can add transfer menus to application forms. You can select three kinds of form IDs to put on a transfer menu: application, Environment, and user. However, you can add only application form IDs if you plan to view the form through the Lawson Portal.
Transfer menus also let you transfer data from one form to another. To transfer data between forms, you define a transfer menu for the program or form, and then define the key numbers for the form fields whose data you want to transfer.
