To delete a distribution group definition

Access the Distribution Group Definition utility (grpdef):

From the Job Control menu, choose Distribution Group Definition.

At the command prompt, type:
grpdef

- In the header area of the Distribution Group Definition form, type or select the group name you want to delete.

Press Delete (F9).
If the group is not assigned to a job, the system prompts you to choose OK (press Enter) to delete the distribution group.
If the group is assigned to a job, the system tells you which job the distribution group is assigned to and who created the job. At this point, the system does not let you delete the group; you must first change the job's assigned report distribution.
Note: If a job that uses the distribution group is running, then the distribution group cannot be deleted. - Press Enter.
