To delete a user group

  1. Access the User Group Definition (usergrpdef) form:
    • From the System Administration, choose Environment Group Utilities and then User Group Definition.

      - or -

    • From the command line, type:

      usergrpdef

  2. On the User Group Definition form, select the user group to delete.
  3. Press Delete (F9). The following options occur:
    • If the user group is being used at the time that it is being deleted, you will be prompted to assign a replacement user group. You can decline assigning a replacement.

    • If you use Mark and Bound to delete a number of user groups, the system prompts you for a replacement user group for each group, if each is in use.

  4. Press Enter twice.
