Configuring the Batch Server

The Lawson Batch Server manages the execution of all batch programs. Use this procedure to configure the Lawson Batch Server and when you need to adjust performance of batch jobs.

To configure the Batch Server

  1. Using a text editor, open the $LAWDIR/system/lajs.cfg file.
  2. Make changes as needed. lajs.cfg Parameter Reference
  3. Save and close the file.
  4. Select one of the following methods to activate the changes you just made:

    • Stop and restart the server. Specify this information:

      stopjobqueue

      startjobqueue

    - or -

    • Run the Job Control utility. Specify this information:

      jqcontrol -c
