Pre-installation

Before you can install the Lawson Core Technology, you must perform several important setup and verification tasks, including:

• Setting up the application server cluster
• Verifying that the secondary servers can connect to LDAP
• Verifying that the secondary servers point to the same database instance as the master server
• Setting up envrionment variables for the database
• Preparing the secondary servers
• Setting up a shared file system
