System Requirements

Note: Information about supported versions of products is included in this document as a convenience. Product support might have changed since this document was published. For the most up-to-date information, consult the Compatibility Matrix on Infor Xtreme.

  • All Lawson servers in the cluster must have identical OS versions, including maintenance and fix packs.

  • All Lawson server requirements for Infor Lawson System Foundation and Lawson Enterprise Applications must be satisfied on each Lawson server in the cluster, including third party applications.

  • One Lawson server must be designated as a "master" or "primary" server. This is the machine where the initial full installation of Lawson will take place. All system administration and update installation must take place from this server.

  • One Lawson server must be designated as a WebSphere administration server. WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment must be installed on the administration server. For convenience, Lawson recommends that you use the master server for this purpose.

  • A shared disk must be available to hold Environment directories.

  • All machines must have identical users. Copy users from the master server to each Lawson server in the configuration.
