Customer knowledge and prerequisites

Customers who choose to write custom API calls must be experienced XML developers and have a knowledge of Lawson applications. This guide does not provide information about the data the API calls interrogate. You would, for example, must know which files (tables) or forms contain the information you need for your application.

Note: Because IOS APIs are a set of tools for customizing Lawson products, Lawson cannot support applications developed with the tools and cannot troubleshoot customer applications.

In addition, technical assistance from the Lawson Support & Delivery (S&D) is subject to being billable. If an error in one of the APIs has caused the requirement for support, S&D assistance is not billable.
