Changing a State

You can change the name, status value, State field, events, and rules of existing states.

  1. In the State column, select the state you want to change.
  2. Press Define (F6).
    Choose To
    State Change the state name and its status value. For more information, see Defining States.
    New State Add a new state. For more information, see Adding a State.
    State Field Change the field whose value determines which state the record is in.
    Events Change events and event rules. For more information, see Defining Events.
    Rules Change state rules. For more information, see Defining Rules for an Event.
  3. Make the desired changes in the subform that appears.
  4. Press Enter.
