To define a global report header

  1. On the Report Format form, press Define (F6), choose Headers, then choose Define Header Text.

    The Text Headers window appears.

  2. To add a header, press Define (F6). If a global header already exists, choose Add.

    To change a header, select the header name in the Text Headers window, press Define (F6), and choose Modify.

  3. In the Header Text window, press Field (F3) and choose from the following options.
    Choose To
    Date Paint the current date.
    Time Paint the current time.
    Page Paint the page number.
    Program Code Paint the program code.
    Program Name Paint the program name.
  4. Press OK twice.

    The Header Name window appears.

  5. If you are adding a header, type a name for the header and press OK.

    If you are changing a header, you can change the existing name.

  6. Press OK twice.

    The Report Format form appears.

  7. To put the header on the form, press Define (F6) and choose Headers.
  8. Choose Select Header Text.
