Reconfigure encryption

After you install the new JDK, follow the steps below to reconfigure encryption.

Note: You will need to reconfigure encryption for each Java JDK that you've updated.
  1. From a command prompt, navigate to the Java JDK bin directory:

    • For LSF, navigate to: $JAVA_HOME/bin

    • For WebSphere, navigate to: $WAS_HOME/<Java_version>/bin

  2. Run the following command:

    ./java -jar $GENDIR/java/thirdParty/bcinstall.jar
