Setting up the LDAP

Infor Lawson System Foundation requires an LDAP to store and manage user information. For supported LDAP version information, see System Requirements.

The following LDAP options are available:

• If you plan to install multiple Lawson Environments, you must create a separate instance of the LDAP for each Environment.

• You can create a new LDAP instance for Lawson users.

  -or-

• You can use an existing LDAP instance that already contains users, and import Lawson metadata to that instance.

  Note: If you install Lawson using this option, changes will be made to your LDAP schema.
