Create an application server for the Infor System Console and the Infor Lawson System Mobile Monitor

  1. Set up WebSphere such that the user running it is one who has a valid identity on the Infor Lawson System Foundation service.

In addition, the user running WebSphere must have the an OS identity that is linked to an RMId who has the AllEnvAccess security class.

Typically, this RMId will be envname_system and the OS user will be root.

  2. In the WebSphere Integrated Solutions Console, use the Servers > New Server option to create a new application server for the Infor System Console and the Infor Lawson System Mobile Monitor.

Infor recommends that you include the Environment name in the server name and also indicate that it is for the Infor System Console and the Infor Lawson System Mobile Monitor.

    Example

    lsfprod1iscmm_app

Note: Infor Support requires that WebSphere application servers must be in a federated node and that the Infor System Console be in its own application server, that is, not on the same cluster as that of Infor Lawson System Foundation.
