Introduction to Updating the Infor System Console

Use the procedures in this section to run the installation or update programs for the Infor System Console if you are updating your Infor System Console from release 10.0.4.0 or later to the current 10.0.7.x release.

The 10.0.7.x release deprecates the Derby database and supports migration to a supported RDBMS. When you run the program to update the Infor System Console server-side component, you must switch from Derby to an RDBMS to continue. After you switch to an RDBMS, you cannot switch back to the Derby database.
