Alerts

Alerts are created to warn or notify you when the system encounters an issue or a certain task requires your attention. Two types of alerts are available:

  • User-defined alerts - Custom alerts that a user creates.

  • System default alerts - Preset alerts in the system such as CollectData, AverageData, and HourlyAverageData.

The Alerts tab in Infor System Console shows this information:

Field name Description
Alert Name Displays the assigned alert name.
Alert Type Displays the assigned alert type, or service that the alert is applicable to.
Host Name Displays the host name.
Notification Recipients Displays the email address of the recipients.
Next Scheduled When defined, it shows when the alert will next be issued.

You can create new alerts, You can also change the status of the delivered CollectData alert to On or Off) and reset the frequency of data collection that is used to construct the historical diagnostic graphs.
