Adding a User in IFS

Infor Lawson users must exist in IFS. This procedure provides the basic steps for adding a user.

  1. Sign in to the IFS application by using the IFS application administrator account.
  2. From the toolbar menu, select Manage > Users.
  3. Click New.
  4. In the Add User from Active Directory dialog, specify the name of the user you want to add in the User Filter text box.
  5. Click Load.
  6. Select the check box of the entry with the user name and then click OK.
  7. Click Publish Users to Infor OS Portal.

    Click Publish Users to Infor Ming.le.
  8. Repeat steps 3-7 to add all users.
  9. As a best practice, it is a good idea to perform a Sync to make sure all new users are added to Active Directory. Select Sync.
