Creating the document flow for user BODs (on-premises)
This configuration specifies how ION processes user BODs. This configuration must be performed for each type of product included in the installation.
- From the ION Desk navigation pane, select Connect > Document Flows.
-
From the Document Flows view, Add and specify a name and description for
the flow. Click Save.
Note: Use a name that describes the purpose of the flow, for example <product>_User_BOD, where <product> is the name of the product being configured.
-
Add the send application and required documents to the flow.
This is the application that sends users from the product to Infor OS Portal (or
Infor Ming.le).
- Select the Application icon and drag it to the space between the Start circle and the End circle in the document flow diagram.
- On the Application Activity Properties screen, populate the name field with a name for the sending application, for example, LSF_Send.
- Click Add (plus icon) on the Application Activity Properties section.
- Select the application point you want to work with, for example, LSF, and click OK.
- To attach the required documents, click the paper icon next to the application name in the flow diagram and click Add.
- Select the Sync.SecurityRoleMaster and Process.SecurityUserMaster documents, and then click OK.
-
Add the Infor OS Portal (or Infor Ming.le) application and
required documents to the flow:
- Select the Application icon again and drag it to the space between your LSF application and the End circle in the document flow diagram.
- On the Application Activity Properties screen populate the name field with a name for the receiving application, in this case, Infor OS Portal (or Infor Ming.le).
- Click Add (plus icon) on the Application Activity Properties section.
- Select the connection point with a description of "Mingle" and click OK.
- To attach the required documents, click the paper icon next to the application name in the flow diagram and click Add.
- Select the Sync.SecurityUserMaster document and click OK.
-
Add the LSF connection point again as the receive application
for the flow. This is the application that receives users from Infor OS Portal
(or Infor Ming.le).
Note: This application does not need documents.
- Select the Application icon and drag it to the space between the Infor OS Portal (or Infor Ming.le) application and the End circle in the document flow diagram.
- On the Application Activity Properties screen populate the name field with a name for the sending application, for example, LSF_Receive.
- Click Add (plus icon) on the Application Activity Properties section.
- Select the LSF application and click OK.
-
Verify that the flow has three applications and that they
appear in the following order (from left to right):
- Send application from LSF to Infor OS Portal (or Infor Ming.le)
- Send application for Infor OS Portal (or Infor Ming.le) to LSF
- Receive application for LSF from Infor OS Portal (or Infor Ming.le)
- Click Save.
-
Activate the flow.
- Review the configuration and make sure you have correctly assigned connection points, aligned them in the correct location on the view, and assigned the correct documents.
-
To activate the flow, in the Document Flow view, click the Activate icon.
Note: Hover over each icon to display a tool tip to help identify the Activate icon.
-

- From the ION Desk navigation pane, select Connect > Message Listeners.
- Select the Infor OS Portal (or Infor Ming.le) listener, MINGLE.
- Under Documents, select the Sync and Process check boxes, then click Save.
