Configuring AGS calls when unfederated: Overview

Existing customers who have unfederated their Landmark and LSF systems in order to use Infor OS or Infor Local Technology Runtime as STS must perform the configuration described in this chapter if they want to enable Landmark users to make calls to LSF AGS transactions. (If you do not make AGS/Transaction calls to LSF from Landmark, you are not required to perform this configuration.)

This topic is an overview of the additional configuration procedures and where to find detailed information.

Procedure Where to find information
Create and configure an endpoint for LDAPBIND on the LSF server. Perform all procedures in the chapter.

For LDAPBIND setup: Additional configuration for installations requiring LDAPBIND authentication on LSF

Give LSF users who need it access to the endpoint. Typically you would do this by creating roles that grant access to the endpoint and assigning the roles to the appropriate users. See the document Resources and Security Administration Guide which is available in the help system. Refer to the sections "Adding and Updating Users" and "Creating Rules and Assigning them to Users."

In Landmark create a service for LSF.

The service should be type Xref Lookup Authentication.

See the document Infor Landmark Technology User Setup and Security which is available in the help system. Refer to the section, "Authentication Configuration."
Create the following service properties for the new LSF service:
  • HTTP port
  • HTTPS port
  • FQDN
  • HomePageURL
  • LoginPageURL
Loading the service properties for the Ldapbind service
In Landmark create and assign identities to the Actor records of the users who need to run AGS transactions. See the document Infor Landmark Technology User Setup and Security which is available in the help system. Refer to the section "User Administration."

In Landmark set up Configuration Parameters for the application productline through which you want to make AGS / Transaction calls.

Update the configuration parameter
