Administrative user is unable to log in

Post-ISS installation and pre-federation smoke-testing should include making sure the administrative user can authenticate in both ISS and the environment to be federated.

If a user who should be able to log-in to the console cannot do so, perform these steps:

  1. Verify the username, password, and identity on the primary authentication service. The same username and password should be able to access Lawson Portal.
  2. Check the LAWDIR/system/security_authen.log for authentication errors.
  3. For sites that were federated using the "manual process," ensure that the Landmark server is up and all services are running.
