Running the Pre-Sync Data Check for Actor Data using ssoconfig

The Data Check for Actor data identifies errors that exist so you can fix them manually. They cannot be auto-corrected.

  1. From the LSF server, run the ssoconfig utility. Type

    ssoconfig -c

    Provide the ssoconfig utility password if prompted.

  2. From the main menu, select Manage Federation.
  3. From the submenu that appears, select Perform Pre-Sync Data Check.
  4. At the prompt for Actor Check, select "1."
  5. Review the output. If there are errors, for example, an Actor record with missing or invalid email address, correct the errors manually.

    Results of the Pre-Sync Data Check are also written to the security log file and can be viewed here: LAWDIR/system/security_provisioning.log

  6. When you have finished correcting Actor errors, it is a good idea to rerun the Pre-Sync Data Check to verify that all errors have been corrected.
