Configuring LSA logging for the non-passive client

  1. Launch the Lawson Security Administrator and, when the login screen appears, double-click the Lawson logo.

    A dialog box of options appears.

    Enable logging

    Enables all SSO logging.

    Logging directory

    Specify the path to and name of the log file. For example, C:\MyLogs

    Resolve Timeout

    Use to specify a timeout, in milliseconds, to use for name resolution. If resolution takes longer than this value, the action is canceled.

    Note: If the DNS timeout is specified using NAME_RESOLUTION_TIMEOUT, there is an overhead of one thread per request.
    Receive Timeout

    Use to specify the timeout value, in milliseconds, to receive a response to a request. If a response takes longer than this value, the request is canceled.

    Connect Timeout

    Use to specify the timeout value, in milliseconds, for server connection requests. If a connection request takes longer than this value, the request is canceled.

    Send Timeout

    Use to specify the timeout value, in milliseconds, for sending requests. If sending a request takes longer than this value, the send is canceled.

  2. Click OK.
