Resource Management Attributes

This table shows the attributes that appear when you add or update a Resource (People, Thing, or Organization), Role, or Structure or when you create a view against these objects.

If you are upgrading from an earlier release of Resource Management and had data in a table, for example, the RD30 web user record, the conversion program brought over your existing data.

Most attributes in this list are stored in the LDAP directory; the few exceptions are noted.

Access This attribute does not apply to people resources that are secured through Infor Lawson Security. People resource
Activity Grp Collect Attribute used by the Financial Reporting Self-Service application. People resource
Activity List Attribute used by the Financial Reporting Self-Service application. People resource
Addins ALLOW means the user is allowed to use the Infor Lawson Add-ins for Microsoft product. DENY means the user is not allowed to use it. People resource
Check LS Unusued attribute. Do not change the delivered state. N/A
DefValSep

Determines whether commas, tabs, or semicolons will be used to separate columns for data import.

Range of values is: Comma (0), Tab (1), and Semicolon (2).

Lawson Portal users and administrators can set a value in Lawson Portal that overrides this setting. This value is stored in a user's role file for Lawson Portal (role.xml).

People resource
Email E-mail address. The Infor Lawson ProcessFlow product stores e-mail address here. People and Thing resources
First Name (required field) First name of the person resource (user). This attribute can be up to 15 characters and can include spaces. People resource
Group The group or groups that the object belongs to. This attribute can have multiple values. Thing Resource
ID (required field) Unique ID for the object. This attribute can be up to 80 characters. This attribute is also referred to as both the RMID and the RDID (both mean the same), the key field for Resource Management and for identity management of the object. All objects
IsDiasbled YES indicates that the user is disabled. NO indicates that the user is enabled. People resource
ISOLocale Locale in ISO format. This attribute is currently used only by ProcessFlow. People and Thing resource
Job Queue Access

In previous releases, this attribute was used by a limited number of customers as a way to control access to the job queue. For upgrading customers, the functionality provided by the attribute is available through other means.

People resource
Last Name (required field) Last Name of the person resource (user). This attribute can be up to 25 characters and can include spaces. People resource
Infor Lawson OLEDB Connector Allow means the user is allowed to use the Infor Lawson OLE DB Object Services product. Deny means the user is not allowed to use it. People resource
Name (required field)

This is typically the full name of the user, for example, "Mary Smith" where "Mary" populates the First Name field and "Smith" populates the Last Name field.

Follow any local requirements for adding names at your site.

For upgrading installations: This attribute contains the name that was previously stored in the Description field of the RD30 record.

PSA StandAlone Yes means the user uses PSA Standalone. This attribute is populated at PSA installation time. People resource
PortalAdministrator

Yes indicates the user has administrative rights in Lawson Portal. Assign this only to users who should be given the administration bookmarks and who will be able to make changes that affect all other users. Lawson Portal administrators are not required to be Infor Lawson Security or Resource Management administrators. If this attribute is blank (or no), the user is considered an end-user in Lawson Portal and does not have administrative access privileges.

People resource
PortalRole

If you are using roles in Lawson Portal, specify the name of the special role file for this user. It is not tied to a role in RM.

Specify the exact name of the XML file for the PortalRole, for example, normaluser.xml.

This attribute is not required by RM or by Lawson Portal. However, if you want to make use of the (optional)Lawson Portal roles feature, you must populate this attribute. If you leave this attribute blank, the user will be assigned the default role file (default.xml). For more information about these roles, see your Lawson Portal administration documentation.

People resource
Primary Group Optional. If you are using groups at your site and have chosen to make them hierarchical, this is the Primary group that the object is a member of. People and Thing resource
Primary Structure Optional. If you are using structures at your site, this is the primary structure that the object belongs to. If you only have one structure, it is the primary structure. People and Thing resource
Product Line

This is the default data source for the user. End-users or administrators can update this attribute through Lawson Portal.

Role The role or roles that the user has been assigned to. This attribute can have multiple values. Values display as asterisks in the Attribute Value box. Right-click to show the values. People and Thing resource
SNotes Server The full URL to the installation location of Infor Lawson Smart Notification. This attribute is populated at Smart Notification installation. People resource
SLDTFUNC

Used with time/date rules. This attribute contains the server local daylight time.

SLDTOBS

Used with time/date rules. This attribute is an on/off switch that indicates if the server follows local daylight time.

ULDFUNC

For time/date rules. This attribute contains the user local daylight time. This attribute must be used in conjunction with the SLDTOBS attribute.

UTZOFFSET

For time/date rules. This attribute contains the difference (in minutes positive or negative) of the user's versus the server's time zone.

Week Day Expression

This is a specialized attribute that changes the definition of a work week for a user.

Workflow User 1 indicates that the resource is a ProcessFlow user and can receive e-mail in their Inbasket. (0 indicates the user is not a Process Flow user.) People resource
