Create the executable dstudio to Secure Design Studio Access

If you want to secure Design Studio access to users, you can do so by creating the executable token, dstudio. The dstudio token secures the entire Design Studio P\product.

You should know how to use the Environment tool, tokendef. You can find information in the Infor Xtreme Knowledge base and in the Infor Lawson document: Lawson Administration: Server Setup and Maintenance.

  1. Access the Form ID Definition utility (tokendef):
  2. From Environment Form IDs, create a category named "IOS" if it is not available. Use "IOS Services" for the description.

    Use these naming conventions to ensure that you can locate the category when you assign security rules to it.

  3. Create the following form IDs. Use the Form ID, Title and Type shown in the table.
