Migrating Security Profile Information Using lsload and lsdump

This topic describes how to use the powerful command line utilities lsload and lsdump to migrate security profile information from one system to another. For example, you could use this method if you want to populate a production system from a test system.

The utility populates only RMID, First Name, Last Name, and Role data on the target system. If your source system contains other attributes that you want to migrate to another target system, use the loadusers utility.

The procedures in this section must be performed by a system administrator who is knowledgeable about the Lawson system and about XML.
