Changing security checking for a data source

When you turn security checking on or off, you typically do so for one data source at a time, not for all data sources. You can choose to turn security checking on or off for DEFAULT, which means all data sources.

When you turn checking off, you can choose either to Allow All Access or Allow No Access. Allow All Access means that no users can access the system.

There might be some situations when it is necessary for you to allow users to access the data source while security is off (for example, in a test environment), but generally it is not a good idea. When you turn off security for a data source, you will typically select the Allow No Access radio button.
