ESS and MSS access needs

This section describes the access rights that users of the Employee and Manager Self-Service applications need in order to perform the tasks described in the previous section.

Required setup performed within the application ensures that users will not be able to see data that does not apply to them.

ESS access needs

At Road Rager, users of the Employee Self-Service application need access to the following securable objects.

  • Data source: Application product line

  • System codes: HR, ES, GL

  • Forms: HR13.1, ES10.1

  • Files (tables): EMTAMASTR, GLCODES, PGEMPLOYEE, SYSRULES, TAEEMASTER

MSS access needs

At Road Rager, users of the Manager Self-Service application need access to the following securable objects.

Note: The following is in addition to access that is already granted through access rights assigned through the ESS application.

  • Data source: Application product line

  • System codes: DT, HS, PA (and any others)

  • Forms: HR90.1, HS10.1, PA12.1, PA26.1 (Current page only; no page up or page down access)

  • Files (tables): EMPLOYEE, GLNAMES, PAEMERGCNT, PFSAGDTL, PERSACTYPE, POCODES
