EZShed's Infor Lawson Users

The sections that follow provide more details about the tasks they perform with Infor Lawson and how those tasks translate into needs for system access.

HR and Payroll Power User Tasks

Jan is EZShed's HR administrator. She is responsible for hiring new employees, maintaining HR employee data, and running reports. From Infor Lawson's perspective, she is a power user.

Fred is the company's Payroll administrator. He maintains payroll information and makes sure that the employees are paid bi-weekly. He is also a power user.

Jan and Fred provide backup to each for vacations and sick days and are cross-trained on the appropriate applications.

Infor Security and Lawson Portal Administrator Tasks

Louis is a member of EZShed's small IS department. He is charged with administering Infor Lawson, including Infor Security and Lawson Portal.

His Infor Security responsibilities include:

Assigning access rights to all users
