Role migration during a feature release update can fail if the role version is invalid. This
failure usually occurs when you incorrectly manually edit the role version in the
role file, which is highly discouraged. A warning message containing the details of
failure indicates that the migration is unsuccessful. Before you can migrate role
files successfully, you must fix the invalid role versions.

Go to %LAWDIR%\persistdata\lawson\<Lawson Portal
folder>\data\roles.

Select and open the role file to be fixed.

Specify the current version of Lawson Portal.
For example, <ROLE id="role1.xml"
version="10.1.0">

Save the file.

In the Roles folder, trigger the migration by deleting
the migratedversion file.

Reload Infor Lawson.

In the Role migration dialog box, perform the
migration.
Note: To ensure that the role version is updated to the
latest version, you must check the role files again.
