Install Lawson Portal web server files on your external web server

  1. Ensure that you are in the InstallDirectory.
  2. To start the install program, specify

    java -jar XXX.jar

    where

    xxx is the file name for this product.

    The installer launches in GUI mode.

  3. On the Installation Packages window, select the package for the scenario you are installing:

    • If you are installing a new installation of Lawson Portal on the web server, choose "Install a new Environment" and specify the name for the new environment.

    • If you are updating an installation on the web server, select "Update web server (WEBDIR)" files and, from the drop-down list, select the environment you are updating.

  4. Click Next.
  5. Check the Installation Summary to verify the install locations. To start the installation, click Next.
  6. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
  7. Check the log file. Check the log file
