Revert Lawson Portal delivered files

Run the installer twice, once for the Update persistdata (LAWDIR) option and once for the Update web server (WEBDIR) option for the feature release you are reverting to. Select the Revert option to remove all current files and deploy the previous feature release.

  1. Ensure that you are in the InstallDirectory.
  2. To start the install program, type

    java -jar XXX.jar

    where

    xxx is the file name for this product.

    The installer launches in GUI mode.

  3. On the Installation Packages window, select the package for the scenario you are installing:

    • To revert a feature release installation on the Infor Lawson server, select Revert persistdata (LAWDIR) files and, from the drop-down list, select the feature release you are reverting to.

    • To revert a feature release installation on the web server, select Revert web server (WEBDIR) files and, from the drop-down list, select the feature release you are reverting.

    Note: The Revert option will remove all current files and deploy the previous feature release files.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Check the Installation Summary to verify the install locations. To start the installation, click Next.

    Details of the installation progress are displayed on a tab. Click if you want to review the progress in real time.

  6. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
  7. Check the Installation Log.
  8. When you are ready to continue, repeat the steps in this procedure to install the files on the web server.
