Installing the Infor Lawson Interface Desktop (LID)

  1. Save the installation program file in the drive where Infor Lawson Interface Desktop (LID) should be installed.
    1. If you are installing on Windows Vista or Windows 7, right-click the installation file and select Run as administrator. Otherwise, double-click the installation program file.
    2. If you are installing on Windows Vista or Windows 7, the User Account Control window is displayed. Click Continue to proceed with the installation.
  2. Click the LID executable file to start the installation.
  3. For systems that do not have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 to 2022 redistributable packages installed, a prompt appears to install the required component: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable Package (x64).
  4. When the Welcome screen appears, click Next.
  5. Accept the terms in the license agreement.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Specify your user name and organization.
  8. Select the user who can use the application.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Select Complete installation type.
  11. Click Next.
  12. To begin LID installation, click Install.
  13. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
