Building the API call to Transaction

With the Transaction Query object selected, click the Custom button on the properties pane. The Transaction Query dialog box appears. Click the hyperlink to specify the data for the API call.

From the Application Objects screen, specify this information:

• Application Object (data area)

• System Code

• Form: Form that inquiry is to be run on.

• Form Properties (fields)

• Methods (Inquire, Add, Change, Delete and so on)

• Selected Elements: Type key fields as required for any selected fields.

Click Build API when you are finished making selections. You are returned to the Transaction Query dialog box.
