Open X-Windows and set display variables

  1. Open an X-Windows terminal session. If you are using Cygwin, you must disable access control by typing xhost + in the X-Windows terminal session.
  2. Set appropriate display variables in Qshell (QSH), giving it the IP address of your PC and the "display number" separated with a colon (:)
