Set environment variables
- Ensure all Infor Lawson users, for all Infor Lawson environments and releases, exit the Initial Signon Program (LAWENV) and the Signon Environment Maintenance program (LAWENVM).
-
If your OS version is V7.4, you must set these new environment variables due to a
change made by IBM.
See KB2090697.
At the Qshell command line, specify:
export QIBM_PASE_CCSID=819
export PASE_LANG=en_US
Additionally, you must set these new variables permanently for your Infor Lawson environment.
See the information about updating the environment configuration file in the Infor Lawson Core Technology Installation Guide.
-
Infor Lawson RPGLE programs now require a target release of *CURRENT.
If you have overridden the target release value on the IBM i CRTBNDRPG command from *CURRENT to another value, you can optionally set it for Infor Lawson only by adding the environment variable SAVLEVEL to the Environment Configuration File and setting it to the current release of the operating system.
set SAVLEVEL VxRxMx
Where Vx is the version, Rx is the release, and Mx is the modification level.
See the information about updating the environment configuration file in the Infor Lawson Core Technology Installation Guide.
-
If you installed Infor Lawson Core Technology on an IASP, at the OS/400
command prompt, specify
SETASPGRP IASPName
-
To set your Infor Lawson environment variables and path, perform a CALL LAWENV command. At the OS/400 command prompt, specify
CALL LAWENV LawsonEnvironmentName
