Query Wizard Limitations

Keep these limitations in mind when using the Query Wizard:

• You can only run one Excel application at a time.

• The data you can view using the Query Wizard is defined by the Infor Lawson security that has been defined and applied to your user name. If you do not have access to field data in an Infor Lawson form, you cannot view that data using an Excel query.

• The Excel workbook cannot contain more than 100 columns, and each column can hold no more than 255 characters.

• There are some Infor Lawson forms that cannot be queried on. For example, the query fails when trying to query a form that is accessed from a button on another form. Some forms might return data if an attempt is made to access them directly, but in general the query fails. A comprehensive list of forms that do not work with the Add-Ins is not currently available.
