licsta - License Status

licsta [-r] | [-f] [licensefile] [-U] [-V]

Display your license status. Your license file is stored in the IFS in the /EnvironmentDirectory/law/system/license directory.

Program Option Description
r

Print Status From Running System.

Displays the license status from ladb.

f

Print Status From License File.

Displays the status from the license file in active use.

U Displays the usage or syntax.
V Displays the version number of the utility.

At the Qshell command line, specify the information above.

  1. In a Lawson Interface Desktop (LID) session, use Form Transfer (F8).

  2. On Form Transfer, specify licsta in the Form ID field. Click the OK button or press Enter.

  3. In the License Status window, specify the following data.

    Field Description
    Program Options Where to retrieve the license status from. Use either of the program options above.
    License File

    Optional. The name of the license file you want to display.

    If you use the -r option in the Program Options field, you must leave this field blank.

    If you use the -f option in the Program Options field, leaving this field blank displays the license status from the license file: /EnvironmentDirectory/law/system/license

    I/O Options

    Optional. Display the output or redirect it to a file.

    To display on the screen, specify:

    2>&1 | lashow.

  4. Press Enter to display the license status.
