Creating unique bookmarks for your site

In addition to working with Lawson-delivered bookmarks, administrators can create their own bookmarks to any URL, both internal and external. Following are examples of bookmark URL formats.

This table shows the types of bookmarks that can be created and their formats.

Intranet website

<ServerName>/<HTMLPage>.htm

Example: MyServer.MyDomain.com/home.htm

Lawson application form

LAWFORM|PDL=<ProductLine>|TKN=<FormID>

LAWFORM|PDL=LAWTEST|TKN=HR11.1

or

LAWFORM|TKN=<FormID>

(assumes user's default product line)

Example: LAWFORM|TKN=HR11.1

Jobs and reports functions

Lawson delivers a Jobs and Reports bookmarks that you can assign to users.

If you want users to create their own shortcuts to these functions or if you need to customize them, access these URLs:

Job Scheduler: reports/jobschedule.htm

Job List: reports/joblist.htm

Print Manager: reports/printfiles.htm

Job Definition: reports/jobdef.htm

Recurring Job Definition: reports/recdef.htm

Customized Lawson form

LAWFORM=|PDL=<ProductLine>|TKN=<FormID>|ID=<CustomFormName>

Parent bookmark to group children Leave the URL blank. When a user accesses this bookmark, Lawson Portal will not display anything in the content pane, but will display the children bookmark links in the navigation pane.
