Configuring Automated File Cleanup

Administrators can use the Cleanup Configuration Definitions form to customize the cleanup of system-generated print files, work files, RQC files, user home directory files, and WebSphere trace and dump files. To perform this procedure, you must have access to the Administration Tools page.

Note:

Before updating the configuration file ensure the correct version exists in the LAWDIR/system directory. To determine if it is correct, compare it to the newer version in the GENDIR/install directory. If it is not correct, copy the newer version to LAWDIR/system or execute the mergePrtWrkClnCfg.pl merge script:

To use the merge script, navigate in a command line session to GENDIR/install and execute perl mergePrtWrkClnCfg.pl.

To configure the automated file cleanup:

  1. On the Lawson Portal Administration Home page, select LSF > Administration Tools > Cleanup Configuration Definitions.
Note: For more information on resolving issues with the configuration of the automated file cleanup process, see Automated Cleanup of Print Files, Work Files, and Other Files in Lawson Administration: Jobs and Reports or Lawson Administration: Server Setup and Maintenance.
  2. On the Cleanup Configuration Definitions page, specify the desired values on each of the five tabs of the page.
