Infor Lawson Environment components

When you install the Infor Lawson System Foundation, including the Infor Lawson Core Technology, you set up one or more Infor Lawson Environments. A Infor Lawson Environment provides functionality that supports Lawson applications. It interfaces the Lawson applications and relational databases, and provides administrative, database development, and program development utilities. Within an Environment, you define product lines (including data areas and data IDs) and you indicate the data storage for these. In addition, you set up job queues, printers, users, and security through the Infor Lawson Environment.
