Configuring the Database Server (ladb)

Configure and adjust the parameters of ladb to maintain system performance and to accommodate your Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) requirements.

To ensure that the parameters are at optimal settings for your organization at all times, view and adjust them when you:

  • Perform a version, feature, or cyclical release upgrade.

  • Add new users.

  • Make other programming changes to your Lawson applications.

Note: An incorrect ladb setting can cause the system to run slowly or not at all.
