Defining an Application Form ID

The Application Form IDs feature lets you define parameters for Infor Lawson and user application forms.

To define an application form ID

  1. Access the Form ID Definition utility (tokendef):
    1. In a Infor Lawson Interface Desktop (LID) session, use Form Transfer (F8).
    2. In the Form ID field on the Form Transfer form, type tokendef and click the OK button or press Enter.
  2. On the Form ID Definition menu, select Application Form IDs.
  3. Define the application form ID using the following fields.
    Field Description
Product Line The product line for which you are defining the application form ID.
    System Code

The system code for which you are defining the application form ID.

All of the application form IDs defined for the selected product line and system code appear.

    Form ID

    The application form ID.

The program that the application form ID represents must exist on the Program Definition form. Online programs must also have a form painted.

You can add a form ID that was deleted from the Application Form IDs form. Press Insert (F8) and type the form ID.

    Title

The title for the application form ID.

If you change the title, the new title overrides the form ID title for the application in the active product line and system code only.

    Run Type

Display only. Indicates the type of program. Standard Infor Lawson programs have a run type of Four G/L, which means they are compiled versions of the program.

For information about other run types, see Doc for Developers: Application Development Workbench Standards.

  4. Press Enter twice to save changes.
  5. If you have changed the title, perform the following steps so that the change appears in the Lawson Portal.
    1. Run scrgen for the form. At the Qshell command line, type

      scrgen ProductLine SystemCode Form

    2. Run the IOSCacheRefresh program in a browser. Type the following in the browser's address or URL field.

      http://WebServer:Port/servlet/IOSCacheRefresh
