Data Preparation

The following utilities can be used when preparing data. See the System Utilities Reference Guide for more information.

Use	To
cnvexp	Convert a sequential export file so it has Return (Enter) characters (so that you can use impexp.)
cnvimp	Convert a line sequential file to a sequential file (useful when a custom conversion program expects sequential files for input.)
impexp	Import an export file to copy data from all data areas of a product line (or all files of a given application) to the same data areas in a different product line, including any related attachment files.
