To view a log file

  1. On the Transaction Monitor form, press Exmlog (F4).
  2. Select one of the following options.
    Select To view
    Presentation Manager

    lapm.pid

    Note: You can view this log only when a user receives an error message saying the process has been terminated. After the user clears this message, the lapm.pid file is deleted from the system.
    Lawson Database Server

    In the IFS at /EnvironmentDirectorylaw/system/ladb.log
    Lawson Application Server

    In the IFS at /EnvironmentDirectorylaw/system/latm.log
    Transaction Deadlock

    In the IFS at /EnvironmentDirectorylaw/system/ladb.dlck
    Batch Job Server

    In the IFS at /EnvironmentDirectorylaw/system/lajs.log
    Transaction Monitor

    In the IFS at /EnvironmentDirectorylaw/system/tmmon.log

    Note: The log contains snap shots of the tmmon form. This log is typically used for tuning and benchmarking.
