Specifying a Job Queue
There are several times when you can specify a job to run on a specific job queue:
-

When you submit a batch job from its parameter form.
 -

If you are using Lawson Portal, you can assign a job queue using the Job Submit dialog box when you resubmit a job from the Jobs and Reports form or the Individual Report form for a batch report.
 -

You can assign a default job queue for a system code or product line data area/data ID on the Job Queue Defaults form. For more information, see Assigning a Job Queue Default. This assignment can be overridden when a job is submitted.
 -

If you are using the Lawson Interface Desktop (LID), you can assign a job queue when you submit the job using the Job Submission subform of the Job Scheduler.
 -

If you are using the Lawson Interface Desktop (LID), on the Waiting Jobs form of the Job Scheduler, you can assign a job queue to a submitted job using the Change Job subform or the Run Job Immediately subform.
 -

You can assign a job queue for a recurring job on the Recurring Job Definition form. This job queue overrides any default job queues assigned to a product line data area/data ID or system code used by one of the steps in the recurring job.
 -

You can submit multiple jobs simultaneously and assign a different job queue for each job on the Multiple Job Submission form.
