Creating CSV Files

Lawson provides several ways of creating CSV files from report print files.

  • Set report configuration options so that CSV files are created when the print files are created. See Configuring Report Options

  • Run the bldxffiles utility. For more information, see the System Utilities Reference Guide.

  • Use the CSV option in Lawson Portal. This method puts the entire contents of the report in the CSV file. See below.

  • If you are an administrator, use the CSV option in the Print Manager in the Lawson Interface Desktop (LID). This method allows you to include subsets of the report data in the CSV file. See below.
