Deleting a Needs Recovery Job

Use this procedure if you need to delete a job from your system that has a Needs Recovery status, rather than attempt to restart the job. This procedure is similar to the one for deleting jobs with normal statuses. One key difference is that you must have the security privilege to delete Needs Recovery jobs (from the Enviroonment Information screen in the Lawson Security Administrator). Users of Lawson Security must have delete privileges for the QUEUEDJOB table.

In addition, users who delete Needs Recovery jobs should understand the possible effects on data integrity of deleting such jobs and should understand the causes of the job failure.

  1. In Lawson Portal, access the Job Schedule form.
  2. Right-click on the job name you want to delete and select Delete, or select the job and click Delete.
  3. To confirm that you want to delete the job(s), click Yes.
  4. Click OK.
