Using Run Lawson Job (LAIBCH7)

Use this procedure to run Run Lawson Job (LAIBCH7).

You can also call LAIBCH7 through a script, supplying it with the same parameters as when it is run from the command line.

Note: If you use the SBMJOB command in conjunction with LAIBCH7 (or with any Lawson job), you must set the CPYENVVAR parameter (“Copy environment variables”) to *YES.

To run LAIBCH7

  1. At the IBM i command line, type

    LAIBCH7

    The Run Lawson Job (LAIBCH7) form appears.

  2. Enter values for the following parameters.
    Parameter Description
    Environment (Subsystem) The Environment the job runs under.
    User Name The name from the IBM user profile that the job runs under.
    Job Name The name of the job.
    Job Queue The job queue where the job will run.
    Wait for Completion Whether the job will wait for completion before returning control to the calling script or program.
  3. Press Enter.
