Printing User Text
User text provides you with detailed reference information about all forms and fields in an application program. Form text explains the purpose of the form and special information that the user needs to know. The Print User Text feature lets you create a document that includes form formats (both online and batch), sample reports, and Help text.

On UNIX or Windows, from the Lawson Environment menu,
choose Application Text menu, and then choose Print User Text. (You
can also type lapm userdoc at the
command line.)
On IBM i, use Form Transfer (F8) to transfer to userdoc.

In the Print User Text window, type or select the
following data.
- Program Options

e (Print Items Without Document Text)
This option prints messages that tell you about missing document text.
p (Print Cover, Copyright, and Form Listing)
This option prints a cover page with copyright and lists the forms included in the document.
o (Online Programs Only)
This option prints online programs only.
b (Batch Programs Only)
This option prints batch programs only.
n (Do Not Print Value Lists)
This option does not print the value lists.
- Module Option

m (Process System Module Only)
This option prints information about a specific module in an application system.
Type m followed by the system code for the module (for example, mRW). You must also type the system code in the System Code field.
- Product Line

The product line you want to create a user document for.
- System Code

The system code you want to create a user document for.
- Program Codes

The program code you want to create a user document for. You can type or select up to 24 program codes.
Leave this field blank to include all programs in the selected system code.
- I/O Options

Optional. Lets you redirect output to the form or a file.
- Press OK (Enter) to create the user document.
