Setting up WebSphere

Lawson System Foundation must be deployed in an application server within a node that is federated to the WebSphere Network Deployment Manager. For each Environment on your system, you create the following:

  • A web server with a unique listening port.

  • A node profile, federated to the Deployment Manager.

  • A WebSphere application server, configured with values specific to the Environment.

  • A virtual host, which defines the unique ports over which the web server and application server communicate.

We require that you create a custom user profile for each application server that will run Infor Lawson System Foundation.

Note: If you plan to install Infor Lawson Core Technology with Infor Landmark Technology and want to use a single Deployment Manager for multiple WebSphere instances, the Deployment Manager must reside on the Landmark server.
