Changing File Ownership

The install.cfg file contains all of the variables that you provided during product installation. This file is read during update installations and should be secured each time you run the installer.

Change ownership on the install.cfg file

  1. If you installed Infor Lawson Core Technology on an IASP, at the OS/400 command prompt, type

    SETASPGRP IASPName

  2. Ensure that you are in the correct Environment. At the OS/400 command prompt, type

    CALL LAWENV LawsonEnvironmentName

  3. At the Qshell command prompt, type:

    cd $LAWDIR/system

    chown QSECOFR install.cfg
