Locate and extract the installation file

Locate and extract the installation file for the feature release you must to revert to if you have not extracted it yet.

Note: If you no longer have the installation file, you can download it from the product download page on the Infor Concierge.

The installation program must be located on the machine where you are installing the product. When the product was installed for the first time, an InstallDirectory was created.

  • Use the same InstallDirectory as a location to extract and launch the installation program.

  • Ensure that the install.cfg file created by the initial Infor Lawson installation is in the LAWDIR/system directory. The install program reads the values from your initial installation and uses them to install updates.

  1. Move the downloaded installation .zip file into the InstallDirectory.
  2. Extract the installation .zip file into the temporary directory.

    jar -xvf XXX.zip

    where XXX is the file name and release number for this product.
